On Tuesday, the Biotechnology major Biocon has posted an increases in its consolidated net profit at Rs 306 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2015.
Biocon said in a BSE filing that “the company had posted a net profit of Rs 102 crore in the same period a year ago.”
The Chairperson and Managing Director Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw said in a statement that “It has been a landmark quarter for Biocon with the hugely successful listing of Syngene. We are extremely proud and excited to take Syngene to its next phase of growth. For second quarter of financial year 2016, Syngene reported a revenue growth of 30 per cent.”
