State-owned Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) said on Tuesday it had received an order from NTPC to build a 2×660 MW thermal power project.
The project will be built on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd (BHEL) said in a statement.
“BHEL has received a prestigious order from NTPC Ltd to build the EPC-based 2×660 MW Talcher thermal power project Stage-III,” it said.
In the statement, the company did not disclose any further details related to the project. The Talcher Thermal Power Project is located in Talcher, Odisha.
BHEL was trading at Rs 55.80 per share at around 11:40 am on Wednesday, down Rs 0.15 or 0.27% from its previous close of Rs 55.95 on the BSE.
Meanwhile, NTPC Ltd is now trading at Rs 157.40 per share, down Rs 1.7 or 1.07% from its previous close of Rs 159.10 per share on the BSE.
