BHEL has commissioned a 600 MW coal based unit at Singareni Thermal Power Project in Adilabad district of Telangana.
BHEL has said in a press release that “The unit has been commissioned at the upcoming 2×600 MW Singareni Thermal Power Project (TPP) located in Adilabad district in Telangana.”
The project is being developed by Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) which is the second largest coal mining company of India.
SCCL, with commissioning of this unit has now successfully diversified into the power generation business.
