On Friday, Bharti Infratel said that its net profit increased 25 percent on year as mobile phone operators invested in expanding 3G networks and rolling out 4G infrastructure.
The July-September quarter’s net profit increased to Rs 579 crore from Rs 465 crore.
Bharti Infratel Chairman Akhil Gupta said that the mobile data will be the key to growth going forward, the company is “witnessing clear signs of accelerated 3G & 4G rollouts by the operators with multi fold increase in such installations as compared to last year. In addition, the sector is also seeing increased focus on quality of service and a possible utilization of unused spectrum,” that will all benefit tower companies.
