Bharti Airtel shares took a hit after around 1.1 crore shares representing 0.2% equity changed hands via a block deal on 29 August.
During the trading session of 29 August, around 1.1 crore shares that represent 0.2% equity of the company, which are worth Rs 922.8 crore changed hands via block deals at an average price of Rs 852.9 per share on the bourses.
Recently, Bharti Airtel had announced the arrival of Airtel Xstream AirFiber in the Indian market.
However, the services are yet to be available to customers in every part of the country. They are currently only available in Mumbai and Delhi, which are metropolitan giants and bring a lot of revenue for the company.
The telecom company is at the forefront of Mobile India Service, with an Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) of Rs 200 during the first quarter of the current fiscal year.
At 12:25 pm, the shares of Bharti Airtel were trading at Rs 857.95 or 1.42% below its previous close on NSE.
