Bharti Airtel shares were trading 2% above on 30 October after the company announced that it had partnered up with Microsoft to offer Indian companies calling services over Microsoft Team through its integration with Airtel IQ.
In its regulatory filing, the company said that this new service will enable enterprises to make and take calls to external users through the team experience that will streamline communications and collaboration within the flow of work.
Airtel IQ for Microsoft Teams is a plug-and-play solution that can be set up within a day and with minimum provision and management. Moreover, it also does not require additional hardware that will allow the management to save on infrastructure purchases.
Airtel IQ’s business head, Abhishek Biswal, said that the company’s traditional strength of connectivity combined with Microsoft’s technology will result in reliability, ease of management, scalability, and ease of management for all its customers and ensure they can solely focus on productivity.

At 1:18 pm, the shares of Bharti Airtel were trading 1.36% above at Rs 927 on NSE.
