Shares of Bharat Electronics hit a 52-week high of Rs 161.80 on 7 December after the company announced bagging an order of Rs 580 crore from the Indian Army for AMC of Radars.
The project will have the participation of Indian Electronics and associated industries, including MSMEs, who are the sub-vendors of the company.
The company had also received additional orders for a total of Rs 3,335 crore that pertains to AMC for Airborne Early Warning and control systems, Software Defined Radios, Uncooled TI sights, SWIR payload, AMC for IACCS, Passive Night Vision Binoculars.
With the addition of the new orders, the company’s cumulative order book has reached a total of Rs 18,298 crore for the current fiscal year.
At 12:57 pm, the shares of Bharat Electronics were trading 2.15% higher at Rs 159.50 on NSE.
