Shares of BCPL Railway Infra were trading in the green and 2% higher during the early trading hours on 23 November after the company announced securing a Rs 3.26 crore project.
In its exchange filing, the company said that it had received an electrification project under the Gati Shakti Sealdah division of the Eastern Railway for a total consideration of Rs 3.26 crore, and it has to be executed over 12 months.
The order is for the work of 12-kilovolt overhead equipment and allied electrical works in connection with the Provision of 12 meters. Wide FOB at (i) KNJ Stn, (ii) STB Stn, (iii) BPC Stn, (iv) BTY Stn and (v) BNJ Stn of Sealdah Division.
Aparesh Nandi, chairman of BCPL Railway Infrastructure, said, “We at BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited are pleased to inform our stakeholders of our recent order intake under Gati Shakti Sealdah Division of the Eastern Railway. The value of this order is Rs 32.62 million, and we are quite optimistic about the pipeline of orders in the coming months and in the near future also.”
He added that the company has offered unparalleled services contributing towards connecting the different parts of the country, and they are confident to continue towards serving the Indian Railway sector in the coming future.
In its quarterly report for July-September, the company reported a 36% year-on-year jump in its net profit to Rs 2.04 crore.
At 2:25 pm, the shares of BCPL Railway Infra were trading 0.18% higher at Rs 107 on NSE.
