Balrampur Chini Mills, in its meeting of board of directors to be held on February 21,2018, will be considering a proposal for buy back of equity shares.
The company has also posted a 65% decrease in its net profit to Rs.61.4 crore for the quarter ended December 31,2017. Last year, in the same quarter it had reported a net profit of Rs.175.2 crore.
Further, revenue from operations was up by 6.9% to Rs. 1,001.9 crore for the quarter under review, against Rs.937 crore in the year ago quarter.
