Bajaj Auto Reports 5% Increase in November Sales

With the opening of the Brazil plant, Bajaj Auto now sells its vehicles in 100 countries.

Bajaj Auto Limited on Tuesday reported that its vehicle sales in November month increased 5 per cent to 4,22,240 units, as compared to 4,03,223 units sold in the same month a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The Pune-based automaker’s domestic sale for the November month declined 4 per cent to 1,98,933 units against 2,07,775 units in the previous year month. Its total motorcycle sales grew 12 per cent to 3,84,993 units from 3,43,446 units in November last year, Bajaj Auto said in a BSE filing.
Total commercial vehicle sales fall by 38 per cent to 37,247 against 59,777 in the same month last year. The company’s total vehicle exports increased 14 per cent to 2,23,307 units as compared to 1,95,448 units in November last year, it added. 
Bajaj Group’s Bajaj Auto Ltd. was founded by Jamnalal Bajaj in 1940. It is an Indian multinational that manufactures two-wheeler and three-wheeler such as motorcycles, scooters, and auto rickshaws. Bajaj Auto is the world’s third-largest manufacturer of motorcycles and is the second-largest in India.
