On June 28, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance announced the launch of a global healthcare product that provides medical coverage to its policyholders worldwide.

In a statement, the company said the product allows insured members to worry-free plan any treatment abroad or in India, taking advantage of the best medical facilities in the world.

Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has partnered with Allianz Partners to provide its policyholders with seamless claims experience through the company’s unique and extensive global network of healthcare providers and premium claims capabilities.

Global Healthcare Products is one of the broadest in the Indian market, ranging from Rs 37.5 lakh to Rs 3.75 crore ($100,000 to $1,000,000).

The product offers two plans, ‘Imperial Plan’ and ‘Imperial Plus Plan’, providing international and domestic coverage.
Domestic insurance under ‘Imperial Plan’ and ‘Imperial Plus Plan’ provides hospital treatment, pre-hospital and post-hospital costs and benefits such as ambulance (air and road), living medical donation costs, modern treatments and technological advancements, mental illness treatment and rehabilitation, etc.

This product is offered to Indians who live in the country and are personally insured for one year. The enrollment age is 18 to 65 years for adult members and three months to 30 years for dependent children, with an option to renew for life.
