Axis Bank has proposed to raise Rs 3,500 crore through issue of bonds for funding the business growth.
It has said in a regulatory filing that the bank proposes to raise funds by issuing unsecured subordinated, perpetual, additional Tier I, Basel III complaint Non-Convertible Debentures of the face value of Rs 10 lakh each aggregating to Rs 3,500 crore.
The board will be considering the proposal of issuing and allotment of the securities through circular resolution.
