The shares of Avenue Supermarts were trading in the green and 4% above on 4 October after the company posted a strong Q2 report.
The retail chain store, in its quarterly report for the July-September quarter, reported a 15.51% YoY increase in its standalone revenue at Rs 12,307.72 crore from Rs 10,384.66 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Currently, the company has around 336 DMart stores across India and has opened 9 new stores in the July-September quarter.
Avenue Supermarts operates a supermarket chain, DMart and provides a range of products at competitive prices all under one roof, including food and non-food fast-moving consumer goods, apparel, and electronics.
The company is promoted by Radhakishan Damani and his family.
The company has stores across states like Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, NCR, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.
