German luxury carmaker Audi on Tuesday expressed that it is going to increase the prices of its entire model range by up to 2.4% next month. The company has stated that rising input and supply chain costs have impacted its margins. Therefore a price hike is needed at this point. It is likely to come into effect from September 20, 2022
Audi India Head Balbir Singh Dhillon said the company is committed to operating a sustainable business model. With rising input and supply chain costs, the company must take a price hike of up to 2.4% across its model range.
Audi India sells petrol models A6, A4, A8 L, Q7, Q5, Q8, S5 Sportback, RS 5 Sportback and RS Q8. The electric vehicle portfolio under the e-Tron brand comprises the e-Tron 55, e-Tron 50, e-Tron Sportback 55, e-Tron GT and RS e-Tron GT.
Headquartered in Germany, Audi is a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group. It produces vehicles in nine production facilities worldwide. The company recently opened online bookings for third quarter in India.
