Arvind Kejriwal Launches Virtual School for Students Across India

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal launched a virtual school and said students from across India can enrol.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a virtual school on Wednesday and said students from all over the country are eligible to enrol. The Delhi Model Virtual School (DMVS) application process started on Wednesday. The school is open to grades 9-12.

“Registration on the school education platform will be open to students across India who experts will also prepare for entrance exams such as NEET, CUET and JEE as well as skills-based training,” Kejriwal said in an online media briefing.

The chief minister said that the country’s first virtual school would be a milestone in the education sector. “There are a lot of kids who can’t go to school because of things like the distance between schools or other barriers,” he said. “Many parents don’t educate their daughters because they don’t want to send them out.”

“We are opening this virtual school to ensure they are educated. He added that this school is inspired by the virtual classes necessary due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” he added.

Kejriwal added that the classes would be conducted online, and the recorded lectures would also be uploaded online.
