Apple has announced a new initiative for the purpose of supporting engineering talent and push for growth in India’s iOS developer community.
In Bengaluru, Apple will be establishing an iOS App Design and Development Accelerator where specialised support and training will be provided to the tens of thousands of iOS developers in India.
The team will be working to instruct developers on best practices, help them hone their skills and transform the design, quality and performance of their apps on the iOS platform.
Tim Cook, the CEO has said that “India is home to one of the most vibrant and entrepreneurial iOS development communities in the world.”
He further said that “With the opening of this new facility in Bengaluru, we are giving developers access to tools which will help them create innovation apps for customers around the world”.
