Shares of Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd. rallied 8%, reaching a day’s high of Rs 761.85 on 7th October, after its subsidiary secured a Rs 908 crore contract from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
AG Enviro Infra Projects, a wholly owned subsidiary of Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd., has secured a Rs 908 crore contract with the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) for Door-to-Door Collection and Transportation (C&T) of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). The contract covers a nine-year concession period.
Chairman and MD Jose Jacob highlighted that the 15-year partnership with NMMC has consistently focused on delivering innovative waste management solutions. This collaboration has played a key role in NMMC’s achieving top rankings in the Swachh Bharat initiative, strengthening the partnership and commitment to sustainable growth in Navi Mumbai.
The share reached a 52-week high of Rs 902.25 on 26 July 2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 354.70 on 26 October 2023.
The stock has surged 46% so far in 2024. The company’s market capitalisation is around Rs 2,051 crore.
At 10:45 AM, the shares of Antony Waste Handling were trading 3.42% higher at Rs 722.90 on NSE.
