Air India has introduced Vista, its latest wireless inflight entertainment (IFE) service, on its wide-body fleet to improve the travel experience with seamless entertainment.

Vista, powered by Bluebox’s Blueview digital services platform and delivered through the Bluebox Wow wireless network system, enables passengers to stream a diverse range of content directly on their electronic devices. 

This includes Bollywood blockbusters, Hollywood premieres, global music hits, engaging documentaries, and a live map display for real-time flight tracking.

Accessible on iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS devices, Vista offers convenient access to over 950 hours of entertainment featuring classic melodies, BAFTA and Oscar-nominated titles, short films, acclaimed series, and curated content for children.

Rajesh Dogra, Air India’s Chief Customer Experience Officer, expressed his excitement about the new service. He highlighted Air India’s continuous efforts to anticipate and meet modern travellers’ evolving needs. Vista is designed to seamlessly integrate with personal devices, enhancing the overall travel experience.

Kevin Birchmore, VP of Global Sales at Bluebox, also shared his enthusiasm for collaborating with Air India. Together, they aim to establish new standards for customer experience and uninterrupted enjoyment, reflecting Air India’s commitment to excellence and dedication to engaging customers onboard.

Furthermore, Air India mentioned that Vista will soon be rolled out on its narrow-body aircraft, extending its availability. However, it will not be accessible on the recently added B777 and A350 aircraft.
