On 5 September 2022, Adani Transmission announced two-step for a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, which has been incorporated into Adani Transmission Mahan (ATML). This new subsidiary of Adani Transmission will carry on the business of transmission and distribution of the supply of power and other infrastructure services.

ATML, having paid-up share capital of Rs 1 lakh each and said that it would commence its business operations. Adani Group of India has transmission and distribution arms in Adani Transmission Ltd. The largest private transmission company with a cumulative network of 18,795 ckm, out of which 14,651 ckm is operational, and the rest are in various stages of construction.
On a consolidated basis, the net profit has declined by 61.1 per cent to Rs 168.46 crore. Also an increase in revenue from operation to Rs 3,048 crore in the first quarter of FY23 compared to the first quarter of FY22. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Adani Transmission’s share has declined by 0.86 per cent to Rs 3,928.
