On Tuesday, the Adani group has said that it has commissioned a 50 Mw solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Mahoba in Uttar Pradesh under the National Solar Mission Scheme with an investment of Rs 315 crore.
The group has said in a statement that the string inverter technology used is the first of its kind in UP with crystalline silicon modules that allow miniature level control of solar power generation .
As per the statement, the transmission line runs up to a stretch of 21.5 km. The power generated by this plant will be evacuated by 132 kV transmission line to UPTCL (UP Transmission Corporation).
