Acrysil revenue from export stood at Rs 100.1 crore, domestic revenue stood at Rs 38 crore after the first quarter of FY23 and also Sylmar Technology (STL) which got consolidated net profit from Q1 FY23, which excluded exports revenue.
On a consolidated basis, profit before tax (PBT) rose 35.1 per cent year-on-year to Rs 24.92 crore in Q1FY23 as compared to EBITDA stood at Rs 34.4 crore in Q1FY22. Earning, Before, Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) margin stood at 20.1 per cent in Q1 June 2022, lower than 22.2 per cent in Q4 March 2022 and 23.7 per cent in the financial year 2021. The core business at a similar level to the set margin remains the same. Total expense rose 80.3 per cent YoY to Rs 137.60 crore in the first of FY23. The cost of raw materials consumed stood at Rs 46.15 crore.

In the UK market, the acquisition of Tickford Orange Limited, the holding company of its operating subsidiary Sylmar Technology Limited opened new channels for selling our kitchen sinks. Meanwhile, the BOD has considered changing the company’s name to Carysil Limited, Carysil Technik Limited, Carysil Products Limited, or any other name as may be approved by the Central Registration Centre (CRC) subjected to all approved by the company.

Quartz, the hardest constituent of granite, constitutes around 80 per cent of the raw material used in these sinks.
