On Monday, the Cement major ACC has posted a 32.6 percent year-on-year increase in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 326 crore for the June quarter.
The company had posted Rs 246 crore profit for the corresponding quarter of last year.
The company has said in a regulatory filing that the net sales for the quarter increased 17.8 percent year on year to Rs 3,329 crore from Rs 2,827 crore.
The company has said that the operating EBITDA increased 37.7 percent YoY for the quarter to Rs 637 crore whereas profit before tax (PBT) advanced 46.4 percent to Rs 482 crore. Cement volumes rose 10.1 percent to 6.74 million tonnes, while concrete volumes increased 5.6 percent to 0.67 million cubic metres.
The board of directors of the company approved an interim dividend of Rs 11 per share.
