HDFC has cut the home loan rates for women borrowers, the women borrowers can avail the loan at 9.85% as of now.

The Managing Director of HDFC Renu Sud Karnad said that it is aimed at promoting house ownership among women and to provide them the confidence of owning a house.

She said that the loan will be given subject to some conditions like the woman is sole or a joint owner of the property, she also added that the loans for new homes, furnishing and for extending the existing debt will be available at 9.85% whereas the plot loans will be available at 9.90%.
