The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi, has revealed the launch of a new addition to its bestseller Note series, Redmi Note 6 Pro. The new smartphone is set to be launched on 22 November, according to Xiaomi’s official website.
The sales of the phone will start at 12 pm on the following day of launch, i.e. 23 November, only through their online platform Mi.com/in and exclusive partner Flipkart.
As per their international release, the Redmi Note 6 Pro design is nearly identical to its predecessor, except for the 6.26 Full HD+ LCD display with a notch at the front.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, combined with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB through micro SD card. However, the Indian version is expected to be launched with up to 6GB of RAM.
The phone runs Android Oreo 8.1 with MIUI 10. The Redmi Note 6 Pro has dual-camera setup both at front and back with 12MP + 5MP AI enabled dual camera at back and 20MP + 2MP camera at front.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro houses a 4,000mAh battery and supports dual-SIM, Bluetooth v5.0, 4G VoLTE. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and facial recognition feature.
