Hindustan Copper Ltd has signed an MoU with Manganese Ore (India) Ltd, for the Malanjkhand Copper Project.
The MoU was signed between HCL CMD, Santosh Sharma and MOIL CMD, Mukund Chaudhary. The major objective of MoU is to create long-term business synergy for both the companies.
Under the memorandum, MOIL will purchase all the silica sand, used for backfilling of its mines, from HCL’s unit located at Malanjkhand in Balaghat District.
Further, a HCL official stated, “A copper ore tailing (COT) beneficiation plant is going to be commissioned at Malanjkhand by HCL, which is expected to generate high-grade silica sand to the tune of 5,500 tn/day. This sand will be suitable for road making, construction of building, etc.”
