Amazon has entered into a joint venture with the Ashok Patni Group,for strengthening its customer service unit,call center for supporting the growing number of local language customers as it is expanding more and more in India.
According to both parties, Patni Group which holds a 51% stake in the joint venture, can also set up a subsidiary that will act as a seller on the Amazon India platform.
The Joint venture has five directors, out of which 3 will be representatives of Patni Group and two of Amazon.
