A marginal growth of 4.94 percent has been reported by the SBI Life Insurance, a private insurer, in its Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs 428.17 crore for the first half of this financial year ending September 30.
SBI Life has said in a release that the the insurer’s PAT stood at Rs 407.98 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Its Assets Under Management (AUM) has increased to Rs 87,784 crore as on September 30 as against Rs 74,554 crore during the same period of previous year.
During the first half of FY17, the company has posted a growth of 77 percent in overall new business premium at Rs 4,644 crore as compared to Rs 2,626 crore of the same period last year.
