The Himalaya Drug Company, a herbal wellness and personal care firm has entered into the mothercare segment with the launch of a range of products and is eyeing up to 6 percent contribution in its turnover in 2 years time.
Philipe Haydon, Himalaya Drug Company CEO has said that “We have forayed into the mothercare segment with a dedicated range of herbal products for women to be used before and after pregnancy…We expect mothercare segment to contribute 5-6 percent in our turnover in 2 years time.”
He further said that the company had reported a turnover of Rs 1,800 crore in the previous fiscal and is aiming at Rs 2,100 crore sales in the current fiscal.
