ONGC‘s fourth quarter standalone profit jumped over 3 fold to Rs 4,416 crore compared to December quarter.
The revenue has declined 11.4 percent to Rs 16,385 crore in January-March quarter as compared to Rs 18,498 crore in December quarter.
EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) plunged 44.2 percent to Rs 4,487 crore and margin contracted by 1560 basis points to 27.4 percent in comparison to third quarter.
ONGC has said that its other income increased 4-fold to Rs 3,392 crore and added that it has an exceptional gain of Rs 852.2 crore in Q4 against exceptional loss of Rs 3,994 crore in Q3.
