Ratan Tata, the leading industrialist has invested in niki.ai which is an artificial intelligence (AI) based chatbot.

The company has said in a statement that it has also received funding from existing investor Ronnie Screwvala-led Unilazer.

However, the details of the funding or total amount it has raised till date has not been disclosed by it.

Niki.ai leverages the technology of natural language processing and machine learning to converse with customers over a simple chat interface and places their orders within seconds with the partner businesses.
