PTC India Financial Services (PFS) which is an infrastructure finance company and the US Energy Association are going to launch training programmes for senior executives from SAARC nations working on hydropower projects.
PFS has said in a statement that the agreement signing is under the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) South Asia Regional Programme for Energy Integration (SARI/EI).
According to the agreement, PFS and USEA will conduct capacity building training programmes for senior executives from SAARC nations on the techno-economic appraisal and financial analysis of Hydropower projects jointly.
Ashok Haldia, Managing Director & CEO, PFS said that “We are delighted to partner with USAID and USEA to share our experience and expertise in the field of hydropower projects for this comprehensive training programme”.
