Honda Car India is aiming to hike prices of its vehicles by up to Rs 6,000 from April to offset the impact of adverse exchange rate which has resulted in higher input costs.
The company, earlier in this month, increased the prices of its vehicles by up to Rs 79,000 on account of the infrastructure cess which was proposed in Union Budget 2016-17.
Honda car India spokesperson has said that “We are planning to hike prices of our entire product range from the first week of April 2016 to partially offset impact of adverse exchange rate resulting in increase input cost.”
