In February, the domestic passenger cars sales has declined 4.21 percent to 1,64,469 units from 1,71,703 units of the same month last year.
According to the data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the sales of Motorcycle jumped 11.05 percent to 8,59,624 units during last month from 7,74,122 a year earlier.
In February the total two wheeler sales rose 12.76 percent to 13,62,219 units as compared to 12,08,084 in the year ago period.
SIAM said that sales of total commercial vehicles increased 19.93 percent to 62,359 units as compared to 51,998 of last year same duration.
