Shares of Zodiac Energy Ltd were locked at 5% upper circuit on 20 December after the firm was awarded its first international rooftop contract from Kitwe, Zambia.
The order encompassed the design, engineering, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a grid-tied 2 KWp Rooftop solar system complete with battery energy storage system (BESS) foundation for M/s Strongpak Limited (Zambia-Africa) at a total cost of USD 720,626.00.
The company said that the above-mentioned order is expected to be completed by 28 February 2025.
In October, the company was given an order by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to design, supply, construct, test, and commission Grid Tied 30 megawatt (MW) Ground Mounted Solar installations in Gujarat.
Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) would design, supply, build, test, and commission Grid Tied 30 MW Ground Mounted Solar projects in the state of Gujarat for a total of Rs 154.27 crore. This would include lease/sublease agreements as well as erection, operation, and maintenance for five years.
The share hit a 52-week high of Rs 819.40 on 13 August 2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 158.55 on 22 December 2023.
At 12:24 pm, the shares of Zodiac Energy were locked 5% higher at Rs 562.85 on NSE and had pending orders for 20,379 shares with no sellers available.
