The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.27% lower by 65 points at 24,365, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, 17 December, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex crashed 1,064 points or 1.30% to end at 80,684 while the Nifty50 traded 332 points lower or 1.35% and settled at 24,336.
