IIMA Ventures have announced that they have partnered up with Google for startups and have launched their first cohort of AI Academy India 2024.
The aim of this program is to help early-stage startups to help harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) for addressing global challenges across sectors such as climate, healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and financial inclusion.
Upon its launch in Gujarat, AI Academy India 2024 will also be held in sex other cities across the country in partnership with T-Hub & MATH, Kerala Startup Mission, IHFC-IIT Delhi, SINE IIT Bombay, NSRCEL IIM Bangalore, IIT Madras Incubation Cell, along with Nasscom AI and People+AI.
Supported by the MeitY Startup Hub, the inaugural cohort features 22 startups receiving hands-on training, expert guidance, access to Google’s AI technologies, cloud credits of up to $350,000, and opportunities to connect with leading global companies.
India’s AI market is forecasted to reach $7.8 billion by 2025, potentially contributing $500 billion to the GDP, according to market research.
