At the Google Cloud Summit on Thursday, November 8, Google stated that it would henceforth help early-stage AI startups in India.

The 12-week initiative, Emerging ISV Partner Springboard, will be made available by the search engine giant to help AI entrepreneurs grow their businesses. In order to develop go-to-market assets, the founders of the companies will get practical assistance. 

Along with expedited onboarding to Google Cloud Marketplace, they will also have access to Google AI specialists for product refinement and advice on best practices for technical architecture.

“Google is committed to empowering AI startups to drive innovation and growth. These initiatives demonstrate our dedication to providing critical support and resources to early-stage founders, helping them build and scale successful AI-powered businesses,” said Dr Manish Gupta, Senior Director of Research at Google DeepMind.

The Google for Startups Cloud Program, which will now offer $200,000 (about Rs 1,68,74,376) in Google Cloud credits over two years, will also be able to offer more assistance to founders of emerging AI startups. They will receive money from this fund.

With $350,000 (about Rs 2,95,30,158) in credits, AI-first firms will get even more assistance in the future to enable them to acquire the cutting-edge equipment needed to run potent AI models.

Additionally, Google has teamed up with Y Combinator to provide its Summer 2024 cohort of AI-first entrepreneurs with mentorship, cloud credits, support, and dedicated access to NVIDIA H100 GPUs and Google Cloud TPUs.

Additionally, in order to provide early-stage startups with a unique bundle of Google Cloud credits, professional advice, and technical seminars, Google has partnered with top early-stage accelerators and incubators, like Berkeley Skydeck, StartX, 500, and others.

Google is also offering a free series of live, interactive classes taught by AI professionals. In addition to learning best practices for creating and implementing AI solutions, participants will have the opportunity to explore the newest developments in Google Cloud AI and enhance their hands-on expertise with generative AI.
