Secret Alchemist, a wellness brand has secured $500,000 in seed funding round that was led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The funding round saw participation from Rishubh Satiya, founder of Plix and Siddharth Shah, founder of Pharmeasy. 

Moreover, following the seed funding, actress Samantha Prabhu has joined the company as a co-founder. The company said that Samantha Prabhu’s role as the third partner will help the company leverage her connections to wellness and expand its reach. 

Samantha Prabhu said, “When I was on my healing journey and went for treatment abroad, aromatherapy became an unexpected source of comfort and healing. I realised how extensively healers in the West were using essential oils to enhance well-being. It had such a profound impact on my health that, upon returning, I searched for a brand I could trust, and that’s when I found Secret Alchemist.”

Secret Alchemist, a 30-year-old aromatherapy company offering sustainable, natural, and non-toxic premium ingredients, was co-founded by Akash Valia and Ankita Thadani. 

The company is planning to use this seed funding to expand its operations, expand its team, build inventory ahead of festive seasons, and strengthen their marketing. 

Moreover, the company is also planning to expand its product offerings by including pure-grade essential oils in the form of mist, creams, and shower gels, enhancing its holistic wellness offerings. 

Ankita Thadani, co-founder of the company, said, “We aim to educate and inspire more people about the transformative healing properties of essential oils through purpose-driven personal care products.”
