The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.10% higher by 26 points at 26,376 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Friday.
On Thursday, 26 September, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex soared 666 points or 0.78% to end at 85,836.12 while the Nifty50 traded 212 points higher or 0.81%, and settled at 26,216.

RITES: The company has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for a tender floated by Delhi Metro Rail Corp Ltd, which is for a total consideration of Rs 87.58 crore.
NTPC: The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Limited, has signed a joint venture agreement with Maharashtra’s state-run Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd.
RailTel: The company announced that it was securing a major order worth Rs 155.72 crore from the Rural Development Department, Mantralaya, Maharashtra.
OLA Electric: The company has announced the launch of its ‘Network Partner Program’ and has on boarded over 600 partners to fast track EV adaptation. The company is planning to expand its network partners to 1,000 ahead of the upcoming festive seasons.
Adani Green Energy: The company has entered into a joint venture (JV) with TotalEnergies. As part of the partnership, TotalEnergies will invest $444 million to acquire a 50% stake in Adani Renewable Energy Sixty Four Limited (ARE64L), which holds a portfolio of 1,150 MWac solar projects.
Torrent Pharma: The company has refuted claims that its Shelcal 500 failed a quality test by the Central Drug Standards Control Organisation (CDSCO) and was labelled Not of Standard Quality (NSQ).
Hindustan Copper: The company has announced working on an expansion project to increase its mine production capacity to 12.2 million tonnes per annum.
