Power Mech Announced Securing Order Worth Rs 226 Crore 

The contract is for a period of three years, effective from 16 December 2024.

Power Mech Projects Ltd on 26 September announced that they had secured an order worth Rs 226.66 crore for the operation and maintenance of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation for 250 megawatts (MW) Akrimota Thermal Power Station (ATPS).

In its regulatory filing, the company said, “Operate, Maintain and Repair 250 (2X125) MW Power Plant and all its equipment for power generation and transition lineup to 220KV switchyard and others related works for a period of 3 years from the tentative date of start of work as mentioned below.”

The contract is for a period of three years, effective from 16 December 2024.

Earlier last week, the company secured an order worth Rs 865 crore for the operation and maintenance of a 3×60 MW supercritical thermal power plant at Banawala village, Mansa District, Punjab. The order is from Vedanta’s subsidiary, Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd. 

The company has also announced plans to issue one bonus share for every one share held in the company and has set 28 September as the record date for the bonus issue. 

In its quarterly earnings for April-June, the company reported a 21% year-on-year increase in net profit and a 16% YoY increase in revenue.
