Zetwerk Manufacturing has secured a major order from NTPC to manufacture and supply 1,515 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, including spare parts, for the 1,200 MW Khavda Solar project in Gujarat.
The company’s solar modules for the NTPC order must be produced in India and comply with the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), as per the company’s exchange filing.
This order is four times larger than the previous contract secured from NTPC Renewables in 2023, with a delivery period of 210 days.
Zetwerk’s ALMM-compliant modules align with the Indian government’s push to strengthen local manufacturing and reduce reliance on imports. The company aims to support India’s energy independence and sustainable development goals through this initiative.
The company’s Energy Transition Business spans multiple sectors, including renewable energy, solar PV module manufacturing, and battery solutions. The company employs over 450 personnel across various departments and has an in-house R&D team.
Besides its operations in India, Zetwerk also manufactures products for the U.S. solar industry, providing solar piles, equipment, and modules, among other offerings.
