Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will launch the Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR), a centralised hub for startups, investors, and stakeholders that will facilitate collaboration and resource sharing, on Monday.

The platform aims to build the world’s largest digital startup registry, enhancing networking, resource access, and India’s global reputation as an innovation hub.

BHASKAR will serve as a central hub where startups, investors, service providers, and government bodies can collaborate, exchange ideas, and accelerate growth.

It will enhance collaboration among key stakeholders within the entrepreneurial ecosystem and offer features such as networking and collaboration, centralised access to resources, personalised identification, enhanced discoverability, and support for India’s global brand.

BHASKAR will bridge the gap between startups, investors, mentors, and other stakeholders, providing startups with immediate access to critical tools and knowledge.

Every stakeholder will be assigned a unique BHASKAR ID, ensuring personalised interactions and tailored experiences across the platform.

The platform will help promote India’s global reputation as a hub for innovation and unlock the full potential of India’s startup ecosystem, driving the country’s emergence as a global leader in entrepreneurship.

The initiative seeks to leverage India’s potential as a dynamic startup hub. India is home to more than 1,46,000 government-recognised startups. 

It has quickly transformed into one of the most vibrant startup ecosystems globally. This effort aims to utilise this potential by offering a comprehensive digital platform as a one-stop solution for addressing the obstacles entrepreneurs and investors face.
