Cleantech Startup Exposome Secured Funding of Rs 10 Crores from Colossa Ventures

Exposome asserts that it has catered to more than 25 clients and implemented over 1,000 filters.

Clean-tech startup Exposome has secured Rs 10 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by women-focused venture capital firm Colossa Ventures. The investment round also saw contributions from 3i Partners and existing backers Rahul Rathi, Bhukhanvala Holdings, Excel Industries, and Spectrum Impact.

In a press statement, Exposome announced that the new capital will be utilised to expand its operations, broaden its market presence, and provide effective environmental solutions to clients in India and specific international markets.

Exposome asserts that it has catered to more than 25 clients and implemented over 1,000 filters.

Established in 2020 by Prerna Goradia, Exposome designs sustainable and cost-effective solutions for capturing air emissions and treating wastewater. Its distinctive molecular filters feature a patented regenerative process and advanced filter materials that are customisable, durable, and reusable.

These filters isolate pollutants and release cleaner air and water, allowing businesses to adhere to standards such as Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) regulations. The company, headquartered in Mumbai, has introduced Pur-safe, an advanced molecular air filtration media for mitigating air pollution, and PurCODe, a next-generation regenerable media for treating wastewater effluents.

These solutions are economically viable and readily deployable across various industries, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paint, oil, refineries, cement, thermal power, textiles, and leather.
