TCS Partners with Google Cloud to Launch AI Cybersecurity Solutions, Shares Trading Flat

This partnership is focused on driving innovation across various industries.

Shares of Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. are trading flat after touching a day’s high of Rs 4,540.25 on 3rd September after the company said it had expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to launch AI-powered cybersecurity solutions to deal with advanced threats.

These include TCS Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and TCS Secure Cloud Foundation. The MDR solution, powered by Google Security Operations, will help security teams detect and respond to threats more quickly and provide continuous monitoring and 24/7 response.

The MDR solution uses the Google Security Operations platform to reduce detection and response times for threats, offering continuous security monitoring and around-the-clock response, according to the company.

The TCS Secure Cloud Foundation will implement security solutions from Google Cloud to advance cloud security and governance across single, multi, and hybrid cloud environments. It will embed security and compliance in the DevSecOps lifecycle with continuous risk monitoring, finding deviations, and recommending actions through AI, machine learning, and automation.

Ganesa Subramanian, VP and Global Head of the Cybersecurity Business Group at TCS, said, “This partnership combines TCS and Google Cloud’s strengths to comprehensively protect enterprise digital estates, helping them become future-ready and cyber-resilient.”

TCS has successfully deployed both cybersecurity solutions to several clients. The decade-long partnership with Google Cloud will now focus on using Google Cloud’s AI-powered security tools for threat intelligence, security operations, and cloud security.

Peter Bailey, VP and General Manager of Security Operations at Google Cloud, said, “Together, we can help organisations significantly enhance their security posture and respond to threats in real time.”

The stock has gained 18.48% so far this year. Its market capitalisation rose to Rs 1,639,246 crore.

At 12:53 PM, the shares of TCS were trading 0.21% higher at Rs 4,530.50 on NSE.
