Shares of NBCC Ltd. traded flat after touching a day’s high of Rs 188.65 on August 12, after the company announced it had secured two orders totalling nearly Rs 720 crore.

According to the company’s recent regulatory filing, the first order, valued at Rs 9.97 crore, is from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India to construct a new building in Hyderabad by demolishing the existing one at Anand Nagar Colony.

The second order, worth Rs 710 crore, is from the Jhansi Development Authority. This order is for developing two land parcels in Jhansi on a self-sustainable basis.

On August 9, the company announced that it had won a Rs 15,000 crore order from the Srinagar Development Authority to develop a 406-acre satellite township at Rakh-e-Gund Akshah, Bemina, Srinagar. This order is nearly half of NBCC’s market cap of Rs 33,000 crore.

In June, the company secured a Rs 70 crore order from Grid Controller of India Ltd. to plan, design, and execute interior works, including furniture, fit-outs, cabling, and other infrastructure, at Grand Rue in New Delhi for the establishment of GRID-INDIA.

Before these orders, the company won multiple orders totalling Rs 491.45 crore from clients, including the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Odisha State Cooperative Bank, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Union Bank of India, and the Ministry of External Affairs.

On June 11, the company secured orders worth Rs 878.17 crore from Kochi Metro Rail Ltd., Delhi University, Oil India, and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, with the Kochi Metro order alone valued at Rs 700 crore.

At 12:07 PM, the shares of NBCC Ltd. were trading 0.67% lower at Rs 183.56 on NSE.
