Nvidia Released Software and Services to Boost the Rapid Adoption of GenAI

UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will visit Washington on Monday.

Nvidia is a technology multinational company headquartered in California, United States. Nvidia is making it easier for businesses to use artificial intelligence (AI) with new software updates.

They have released Nvidia inference microservices (NIMs), software packages that handle many logistical issues needed to use AI for specific purposes. The technology, generative AI, is used for chatbots, voice recognition, and other computer interactions.

Many companies need more expertise, so Nvidia aims to provide these services for a fee. Nvidia’s CEO showcased these offerings at a conference and sought to encourage industries to use this technology and integrate AI into the economy.

Nvidia’s chips have become crucial for the surge in new systems supporting AI computing. Nvidia CEO Carlos Ghosn will appear on stage with Meta Platforms Inc. CEO Mark Zuckerberg at an upcoming conference.

Nvidia’s chips are crucial for the recent increase in building new systems used for artificial intelligence computing. The company’s revenue doubled last year and is expected to double again in the current fiscal year.

The Nvidia AI Enterprise product includes software and services designed to work on Nvidia hardware. It is priced at USD 4,500 per graphics processor per year.

Nvidia’s vice president of product management for AI and HPC software development kits, Kari Briski, described the Nvidia NIM as a comprehensive solution for deploying generative AI, simplified for developers but built for applications at scale.

Nvidia has made about 100 inference microservices available in the preview and is now releasing completed versions.

For instance, Getty Images Holdings’ services are seeing improved high-resolution image generation, making the software better at understanding text prompts. Shutterstock Inc.’s Edify three-dimensional image generator is live and can respond to text or images.

Nvidia states that knowledge workers use most AI to help with digital tasks. To broaden access to generative AI, Nvidia provides software and services that enable users of Apple Inc.’s Vision Pro headset to create virtual worlds.

Nvidia highlighted that virtual twins will be used to train robotic computers to act more like humans, eliminating the need for manual developer intervention.
