Meragi, a startup that offers modern wedding services, has secured a new funding round of Rs 76.19 crores (USD 9.1 million) led by Accel. Other participants for funding included existing investors Peak XV Partners and Venture Highway.

Additionally, Meragi offers destination wedding packages in Goa, Coorg, Chikkamagaluru, Mysuru, and Bengaluru.
The company, based in Bengaluru, aims to reach a revenue of Rs 100 crore by the end of this fiscal year, expanding its customer base to include those in the 25- —to 35-year-old age range.
With plans to expand to Gurugram and Jaipur this year, Meragi faces competition from other startups in the wedding services space, including Weddingz.in, Wedding Cloud, Shaadilogy, Shaadi Baraati Event Management, and others.
