Gensol Engineering Surge 4% on Bagging Rs 463 Crore Project in Gujarat 

The company is currently executing solar projects for multiple prominent clients, totalling around 1 gigawatt.

Shares of Gensol Engineering surged 4% on 29 July after the company announced securing an order worth Rs 463 crore for a solar power plant at Gujarat’s Khavda RE Power Park.

In its regulatory filing, the company said that the project involves the design, procurement, engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of a solar plant featuring a fixed tilt module mountain structure and the remaining balance of the system. 

Shilpa Urhekar, Chief Executive Officer of Solar EPC (India) at Gensol Engineering Ltd, said, “Our understanding of customer needs, excellent engineering track record, and commitment to delivering high-quality renewable solutions have been instrumental in our recent successes.”

The company is currently executing solar projects for multiple prominent clients, totalling around 1 gigawatt. 

This order showcases the company’s position as a major player in the renewable energy sector, highlighting its continued growth and success in delivering innovative and efficient solar power solutions.

Earlier last week, the company announced that it would secure a bid for a 116-megawatt (MW) solar project in Gujarat. This project has an estimated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) revenue of Rs 600 crore.

At 1:30 pm, the shares of Gensol Engineering were trading 1.79% higher at Rs 983.90 on NSE.
