Lemon Tree Hotels Shares Gain 1% on Launching Property in Jharkhand 

The Lemon Tree Hotels, Udaipur, will have 54 well-appointed rooms.

Shares of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd were trading in the green and 1% higher on 16 July after the company announced launching its first property in Jharkhand. 

In its regulatory filing, the company announced that it had entered the Jharkhand market with the opening of Lemon Tree Hotel Centre Point, Jamshedpur. The hotel has 42 well-appointed rooms, Republic of Noodles, the award-winning Pan-Asian restaurant, Slounge, a hip recreation bar, a fully equipped fitness centre, a banquet, and other public amenities. 

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited (LTHL) is one of India’s largest hotel chains, catering to various market segments from upscale to economy. The company owns leases, operates, and franchises hotels, providing distinct and high-quality service offerings with an attractive value proposition. LTHL encompasses seven brands tailored to diverse guest preferences, including Aurika Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Premier, Lemon Tree Hotels, Red Fox Hotels by Lemon Tree Hotels, Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, and Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels.

Founded in May 2004 with its first property featuring 49 rooms, LTHL has rapidly expanded its footprint. Currently, the portfolio includes over 160 hotels, comprising more than 100 operational hotels and over 60 properties set to open in India and globally.

Lemon Tree Hotels are strategically located in major metropolitan areas such as NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai, as well as in numerous tier I, II, and III cities across India, including Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Aurangabad, Udaipur, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Ludhiana, Thiruvananthapuram, and Vijayawada. Internationally, the company continues to extend its reach and influence.

At 12:05 pm, the shares of Lemon Tree Hotels shed all its early gains and were trading 0.51% lower at Rs 146.02 on NSE.
