Shares of Digikore Studios Ltd surged 7% on 15 July after the company announced signing an agreement with CBS Studios for VFX and Virtual Production. 

In its regulatory filing, the company said that they have signed an agreement with CBS Studios to deliver VFX and Virtual Production for their global media franchise Star Trek, marking the company’s venture into the American Markets. 

They are the first Indian studio to secure contracts for Virtual Production on any marquee North American project. This project will position the company among the key players worldwide in Virtual Production Services. 

Earlier, the company launched the world’s first cloud-based marketplace of virtual production sets. This cloud-based platform will revolutionise the filmmaking industry by providing extensive opportunities for creators around the world. 

The company expects significant revenue growth, with annual revenues ranging from $10 million to $200 million in the next 2 to 4 years, offering virtual production sets for rent at a fraction of the cost of custom sets. 

The company has also ventured into content production for Indian and international OTT networks back in 2022. Through this, the company aims to produce over 400 episodes every year that will contribute over Rs 120 crore in annual revenue by 2026.

At 3:30 pm, the shares of Digikore Studios closed 6.34% higher at Rs 535.60 on NSE.
